Terms and Conditions – Biggest Event ‘Ick’ Prize Draw

1. Promoter

The promoter is Future Events Lab, ABN: 23 670 921 212, located at Level 1, 272 Lygon Street, Carlton VIC 3053, Australia. Contact: hello@futureeventslab.com 

2. Eligibility

Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or over who attend Events Uncovered on Tuesday, 19 August 2025. Employees and immediate family members of the promoter are ineligible to enter. Limit of one entry per person or business.

3. How to Enter

Eligible participants must share their biggest event tech ‘ick’ with the Future Events Lab team at the stand during Events Uncovered on Tuesday, 19 August 2025. No purchase is necessary to enter. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

4. Prize Details

The promoter will award one of the following prizes to the winner:

  1. A $10,000 subscription to Future Events Lab’s event technology platform

  2. A brand new iPad (RRP $515.00)

  3. A $250 travel voucher from JT. Travel Group

Total prize pool value: up to AUD $10,000.

Prizes are not redeemable for cash and are not transferable or exchangeable.

5. Draw Details

The draw will be conducted on Wednesday, 20 August 2025 at the offices of Future Events Lab. 

The winner will be selected by random draw from all valid entries.
This is a game of chance. Skill plays no part in determining the winner.
The winner will be notified via email and must claim their prize within 7 days of notification.
If the prize is unclaimed after 7 days, a redraw will take place.

6. Privacy

By entering, you agree to the collection and use of your personal information for the purposes of administering this promotion and receiving marketing communications from Future Events Lab, unless you choose to opt out.

Your information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Future Events Lab Privacy Policy.

7. Permit Information

As the total prize pool does not exceed AUD $10,000, this trade promotion does not require a permit in New South Wales or Victoria.

This promotion complies with the Charitable and Non-Commercial Gaming Act 1991 (NSW) and the Gambling Regulation Act 2003 (VIC).

8. General

The promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry or cancel the promotion if fraud, misconduct, or technical failure impacts the integrity of the competition. 

By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws. Any disputes will be governed by the laws of New South Wales and Victoria.
